Located in Bromley, Kent, Breaside Preparatory School provides a rich learning environment for your son or daughter. Our curriculum will prepare your children for the senior schools of choice through a balanced and broadly based education, from their first days in Kindergarten through to the age of 11.

In September 2023, we were delighted to announce the opening of our new site at Widmore Road, Bromley.

We are proud to have the Millie’s Mark accreditation

Millie's Mark is awarded to childcare providers exceeding EYFS guidelines by having every Early Years staff member trained in paediatric first aid. We are very proud to be recognised as the ONLY school in the Bromley area with this award.

This ensures maximum child safety. This accolade requires 100% staff training and upholding first aid knowledge, offering parents peace of mind.

Today, Mrs Sun and Mrs Parson hosted an unforgettable assembly in honour of Lunar New Year - also known as the Spring Festival in many parts of Asia! This year, we welcome the Year of the Snake, a time of excitement and new beginnings.

Mrs Sun began the celebration by teaching everyone how to say “Happy New Year” in Mandarin, and the room buzzed with energy as pupils eagerly practiced together. We also explored the many wonderful traditions that families and friends enjoy during Lunar New Year. One of the best parts? Many students shared their own special celebrations, making the assembly even more lively and meaningful!

To set the festive mood, Mrs Sun and Mrs Parson decorated the room with beautiful traditional decorations, filling the space with colour. Then came a real treat - children from Mrs Parson’s Mandarin class stepped into the spotlight for a fantastic performance of a Happy New Year song! Their enthusiasm and talent left us all in awe.

It was a truly special celebration, and we wish everyone a joyful and prosperous Lunar New Year! 🧧🎊🐍

After the performances, he visited several classes, where curious and excited pupils couldn’t wait to ask him questions about his dancing journey.

Last Friday, our Breaside community came together to celebrate the return of a beloved tradition that grows more enchanting with each passing year, Winter Wonderland. This magical evening isn’t just about festive fun, it’s about creating joyful memories that unite us as a community.

Families browsed the stalls of local vendors while little ones embraced their creativity with gingerbread men icing and colourful face painting. The miniature railway train, always a crowd favourite, was a source of endless giggles, and pony rides with Taffy and Rocky added a touch of whimsy to the night.

Of course, no Winter Wonderland would be complete without a spread of festive treats. Everyone enjoyed a buffet of burgers, waffles, hotdogs, cakes, and popcorn – a feast as delightful as the company. The evening’s magic was topped off with glides on the ice rink and a heartwarming choir performance from our students, that captured the spirit of the season.

To all who joined us, including our dedicated members of staff and wonderful local vendors, thank you for making the evening so special.
