Scientific enquiry
Throughout the following topics the children will have the opportunities to suggest questions and ideas make simple predictions and collect evidence. They will consider whether a test or a comparison is unfair. They will make measurements of force, length, time and volume using simple measuring equipment. Their results will be presented in drawings, bar charts and tables and the children will be encouraged to identify simple patterns in their results and draw conclusions.
