Key Stage Two Curriculum

Our Key Stage Two Curriculum is tailor made for the transition from the Infant Department, following on from Key Stage One Curriculum and developing into areas of the Key Stage Three Curriculum. Children learn at different levels and this is recognised throughout their time at Breaside. In the Junior Department the focus is on preparation for Entrance Exams for the many Senior Schools our children transfer to at the age of 11 years. This includes the 11+ tests for Selective Grammar Schools, Independent Entrance Exams and the Key Stage Two SATs. This preparation also includes Non-Verbal and Verbal Reasoning papers and Creative Writing Tasks.
