Entry procedure

All children at Kindergarten age are selected on a first come, first served basis. From Year 1 upwards, places are offered subject to a short test in numeracy and literacy and by interview with the Headmaster.

Entry into the Kindergarten (3-4 years)

Children joining Breaside in the Kindergarten take advantage of the crucially important early years where children learn and play in a safe, friendly and structured environment. Our children enter the Kindergarten at 3 years of age and parents can choose from a variety of schedules from five morning sessions per week to five full days. Our Early Years Curriculum is broad and balanced and great emphasis is placed on the child's individual needs and progress.

Entry into the Prep (4-11 years)

Besides our children moving up from the Nursery, entry into the Prep (Reception and Years 1-6) is according to the availability of places and the meeting of our entry requirements. Academic scholarships are offered to Year 2 pupils to be taken up from Year 3.
